For many years I have loved to capture the nature around me on photos. While I only used my cellphone camera at first, in 2018 I also learned how to handle a real SLR camera. Since then I’m almost obsessed with it and I can not stop taking pictures. In 2019 I finally bought a mirrorless camera from Sony (Have a look at my first photo trip with the Sony α 6000). The functions that such a camera offers are just perfect for my purposes! Have a look at my portfolio with pictures from all over the world:
Delhi
Great adventures are not only experienced when you face physical challenges or fight your own fears, but also when you immerse yourself in unknown cultures - for example during my trip to India in 2019.
Isa Khan's Tomb
In Delhi there are some impressive tombs of past rulers and noblemen. Here you can see the tomb of Isa Khan, a noble of the Sur Dynasty. It was built in 1548.
Gautama Ganga - Gaula River
I spent the whole of last month in the Kumaon area, in the far north-east of India. In addition to the breathtaking nature and scenery that surrounded me there every day, I was also blessed with the most beautiful experiences and friendships I could have imagined. I return home with my heart full of happiness!
Dattatreya Temple at Night
One of the unforgettable moments of my India trip was the nightly ascent to the Dattatreya Temple, where I admired - far away from the big cities - the magnificent starry sky... somewhere on the foothills of the Himalayas.
Ciliyanaula Babaji Ashram
Here you can see the very impressive main temple of the Babaji Ashram in Chiliyanaula, India. Every morning and every evening there was singing, playing music and dancing together there. A very nice way to greet and say goodbye to the day...
Morning Glory
Navaratri is one of the most important festivals in the Hindu annual cycle. While at 06:00 in the morning the sun slowly rose above the horizon, the women were already in the garden picking fresh flowers to decorate the holy fireplace...
Kurmanchal Kailash
On the top of the holy mountain Kurmanchal Kailash (1738 m above sea level). If you wonder about the symbol on the sign: Many thousands of years before the Nazis misused it for their horrible purposes, the Swastika was a symbol of luck in many different cultures...
